These are the words that greet me every morning as I enter the bathroom. Though we may not realize it, the bathroom is the place we truly come to our senses every morning.
As I use this space in our home every morning, I read the words that remind me how to start a new day.
I think the bedroom and the bathroom should be the cleanest, most pleasant and inviting areas in the home. I take great care to make sure these places are decorated creatively to give the whole family a feeling of comfort.

As we use the facilities in the bathroom, our minds often wander and so
I have made it a point to fill the bathroom with inspiration in the
form of little quotes I have collected and displayed on the walls. I
put fresh flowers with natural fragrances, letting me feel close to
nature.

We're lucky to have a skylight right above the shower, so while I shower I look up and see the beautiful clouds or stars (if you're ever remodeling, skylights are definitely worth thinking about).
The time I spend in my bathroom is the most relaxed part of my day. I begin my day geared with words of inspiration and end my day standing under the shower gazing at the quiet and peaceful night with the twinkling stars…
