I Wish He Could See

 

“They say flowers are beautiful and have vibrant colors too
I thought they only have a scent
If it is called a color why don’t I feel it to my hands…
It seems I am missing more than I realize
I feel warm during the day compared to the night…
But they say there is more to it than that
I guess I don’t understand since I am still small
But maybe I will as time goes on…”

“These are the questions he asks me...
And I have no answers to give…
Except silently pray that someday
He’ll walk in a land, where all the blind can see…”
